 He was born on July 21, 1988, in Havana. At the age of 7 he began his musical studies at the Conservatory of Music Elementary ¨ ¨ Manuel Saumell, specializing in piano with Professor Patricia Melis.

He continued his studies under the tutelage of Professor Maria Teresa Pita and enters the year 2003 to mid-level Conservatory Amadeo Roldán, with gold diploma and graduate course better. Joined in 2007 the Instituto Superior de Arte, in the teacher's class and Malcolm Patrick recently concluded with Professor Rosalie Capote obtaining the highest qualification and title gold.

Event has been lauded as Amadeo Roldán Piano Competitions, Latin American Piano Competition 2001, 1st ex-aequo in the intermediate category Contest Cullell Maria Clara in San Jose, Costa Rica 2004, 2nd prize in the Superior Institute Musicalia Art in 2002 and also 2nd prize in 2009.

As a member of the duo `` `` Atlal Chamber Music that comprises with violinist Monica Betancourt was honored with the 1st prize in the chamber music Musicalia 2008 and 2nd prize in the UNEAC 2008. In 2010 received a 3-month course solo and chamber music at the University of Music and Drama Gothemburgo-Sweden (Artisten), and in 2011 was again invited by the university to continue their studies in the classroom of teachers Rydfelt Thomas, Tobias and Roger Johannson Granmo among others. As a sample of the work with them participated in several concerts in Gothemburgo and Stockholm, including a specially recorded for Swedish radio with excellent reception from the public and which were interpreted and premiered works by Swedish composers and Cuban.

In addition to his solo work, performing frequently presents chamber music projects, among which stand out: the presentations with the young German tenor and soprano Jannes Moennighoff Polish Susana Proskura (Rudolf Steiner Hall in Hamburg, Germany, at the University of Music Gothemburgo and Havana), and the important work of the country as musicians: the violinist Monica Betancourt, Ernesto Fernandez Frank oboist, cellist Amparo del Riego, soprano Bárbara Llanes, Gonzalez and violist Anolan bassoonist Abraham Castillo ... among others, as well as presentations on ancient music groups playing harpsichord and organ.

She has been invited to participate in: the 5th Latin American Music Festival piano in Santo Domingo Dominican Republic in 1999, the piano cycle of Montevideo-Uruguay in 2005, at the recital of young talents International Piano Festival ¨ ¨ Ignacio Cervantes 2005 and in the various editions of the major music festivals in the country. He has participated in recordings for Hummingbird on disks: Music of Harold Gramatges, Piano Music Beatriz Corona, and 20 piano-music Ernan Lopez-Nussa (disc was Cubadisco GP-2012).

Also currently serves as the chair of professor of piano at the Conservatorio Amadeo Roldan and recently entered the CNMC catalog.
